Lutheran Disaster Response

A cooperative program of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod, Lutheran Disaster Response designates immediate relief funds and supplies for domestic disasters such as floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, and other extraordinary calamities (including relief to families affected by the farm crisis). Lutheran Disaster Response opportunities are provided to members as they develop.

Whether it is a quilt for a refugee, food for drought-stricken countries, health kits or school kits for children in poverty, or a layette for an infant, the ministry of Lutheran World Relief is compassionate and personal. Memorial Lutheran members work each month to make quilts and other LWR kits on the second Wednesday of the month at 1:00 pm. Donations of quilt materials and kit materials are always welcome. Contact Kathy Bergmann for more information.
