Fact: In 2010  nearly 60,000 clothing items were distributed to over 9000 people from Story County and the surrounding area. And in 2011 over 90,500 items of clothing found new homes and over 14,000 people were helped.

This ministry continues to grow because of the generous contributions  by many.

Contributions of clothing: YES! Harmony accepts clothing of all sizes - infants to adults; shoes and coats are also welcome donations. Please drop your items off any Saturday during open hours (between 8 am and noon) or any Monday night during open hours (4:30 pm - 7:00 pm). If your items are on hangers - no need to remove the hangers. If you need replacement hangers, let us know and we'll find some for you when you arrive with your donation! Donations are tax deductible.

Contributions of time: YES! We would love to have you volunteer at Harmony. No special requirements to volunteer. We'll train you when you arrive. We welcome young children through middle school age children to volunteer with an adult. To volunteer online, please click on the sign up below

Contributions of money: YES! Harmony would benefit from your financial contributions.  The community has been gifted with the generous donation of the mainstreet building rent free, thanks to Al Kockler. Beyond that we are responsible for the month to month operating expenses such as water, electricity and other utilities, the property taxes, and the cost of the property insurance.
