Online Bible
The ELCA web site has several links for connecting to the Bible. There are links for bible studies, the daily lectionary, and for the ELCA Book of Faith initative. Go to the ELCA resource page Read The Bible. To search for and read particular scriptures the ELCA web site recommends Oremus Bible Browser.

The Revised Common Lectionary (RCL) provides a three-year plan for Sunday readings starting with the season of Advent, four weeks before Christmas day. For each Sunday and festival, four readings are suggested and include: a Gospel reading, an Old Testament reading, a reading from the Psalms, and a New Testament reading. To learn more about the RCL visit the ELCA web page Growing in Faith, Worship, Lectionary
